  8. I am a sergeant in the Virginia Army National Guard.
  9. I work them full time as a Broadcast Journalist.
  10. It might be the best job ever.
  11. I was deployed to Kosovo from November 2006 – November 2007.
  12. I had to take time off from college to deploy, obviously, and have just recently started taking classes again.
  13. It’s been a little scary.
  14. I’m a Sociology major. And I love it.
  15. Popcorn is my favorite food.
  16. I’m not religious, but I am spiritual.
  17. I have great big brown eyes that are, in my opinion, my best asset.
  18. I want to save the world.
  19. My favorite holiday is Halloween, which, incidentally, is my husband’s birthday.
  20. After years of being indecisive, I’ve finally settled on a favorite color – green.
  21. I can’t swim.
  22. Or ride a bike.
  23. My feet have to be uncovered when I fall asleep. If they’re covered I get overheated.
  24. Due to an unreasonable fear of vampires and ear-dwelling spiders I developed in childhood, I have to sleep with either my hair, or a blanket covering my neck and my ears.

  27. If I could, I would wear my black, $10, American Eagle flip-flops all year round.
  28. I don’t eat any seafood at all. I think it’s gross. All of it.
  29. Every single time I go to Olive Garden, I get the exact same thing – soup (always, always, always the minestrone), salad and bread sticks.
  30. I will never die of a sodium deficiency because I put salt on and in everything I eat.
  31. I still love fairy tales.
  32. I got married in Las Vegas because I’m cool like that.
  33. My favorite flower is the tulip.
  34. I have five tattoos.
  35. It’s possible that I’m mildly obsessive compulsive.
  36. I was 17 the last time I got a tattoo.
  37. I rarely drink soda.
  38. If my handwriting is messy on my grocery list, I rewrite it. And then I feel guilty for wasting paper.
  39. From birth to age eleven, I lived on farms.
  40. I’ve been attacked by an angry, possibly hungry rooster.
  41. I have no sense of direction.  But I can find my way on a map.  Usually.
  42. I love driving by myself, windows rolled all the way down and music blaring.
  43. I was born March 12, 1984.
  44. I have a dog named Sadie.
  45. She’s a Husky and absolutely wonderful.
  46. I’m Italian (and some other stuff too).
  47. I’m 5′6″.
  48. All I’ve ever wanted is one more inch so I could be 5′7″.
  49. I really love trashy tabloid magazines.
  50. At one point in my life I helped make maple syrup from scratch.

  51. In December ‘08 my husband and I became homeowners.
  52. Our house was built in 1924.
  53. Since we bought it, I’ve become obsessed with all things domestic.
  54. I finally quit smoking after 10 years on May 1, 2009.
  55. It wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it would be. I was just ready to quit, I guess.
  56. I wish I lived closer to an Ikea.
  57. In my opinion, I’m pretty handy.
  58. I love finally living in a house and being able to have a garden.
  59. I’m a big fan of bright colors.
  60. I love inappropriate and offensive comedy.
  61. I think humor is one of the best ways to bring uncomfortable subjects out into the open.
  62. Everyone thinks I was a goth kid in high school, but I think that’s too narrow of a category for me. I was just a mistfit.
  63. I could eat Chinese Food every single day and not get tired of it.
  64. If I could, I would spend all of my time either on vacation, or planning for vacation.
  65. I lived on a farm growing up.
  66. Because of that, I’ve seen all sorts of animals be born. Sheep, cats, dogs, cows.
  67. I’ve also seen both chickens and ducks hatch.
  68. For the record, ducks are better animals than chickens.
  69. I’m kind of a dork.
  70. And I’m totally okay with that.
  71. I loved to run when I was a kid.
  72. But then I had knee surgery when I was 13 and I just sort of stopped running.I
  73. I’m sort of obsessed with the Sims 3.
  74. In fact, I’ve considered taking a day off work just so I can play it.

  76. Third Eye Blind is one of my most favorite bands of all time. Just because all their songs are relevant to my life in some sort of crazy way.
  77. I can pick things up with my feet.
  78. It freaks some people out.
  79. I hate East Coast seagulls.
  80. But not West Coast seagulls.
  81. Trust me, there is a difference.
  82. I have absolutely no desire to have children.
  83. Although I recognize the fact that at some point I might change my mind and want a whole brood.
  84. At this point though, my clock is not ticking. At all.
  85. I will probably stay in the military until they make me leave.
  86. Because I love it and because I’m a glutton for punishment.
  87. It took me a long time to come to terms with the fact that I’m just NOT a girly-girl.
  88. Although I do like the color pink.
  89. And glitter.
  90. My favorite season is either Spring or Fall.
  91. It’s definitely not Winter or Summer.
  92. I used to hate wine and now it’s the only thing I drink.
  93. I can’t totally relax at home unless my house is clean.
  94. Which makes me feel sort of crazy.
  95. I met my husband through the Army.
  96. We actually work together.
  97. That means I’m with him on average of 23 hours of every day, which might make some couples crazy, but works quite well for us.
  98. We’re weird like that, I guess.
  99. I totally addicted to my crackberry.
  100. If I win the lottery, I’m totally moving to San Francisco.
  101. Because I love it there.
