This is a totally random post, but still, I find it important to tell you I’m weird

13 Jul

I want desperately to travel around Virginia and the neighboring states to find strange and fascinating things.  Weird things.  I want to experience the weird and wacky side of America.  It’s all there waiting for me, and yet, I’ve left so much of it untouched.  For example, I lived super close to Dinosaur Land for three years, and yet still, I never went and experienced it.  I feel like I’ve let myself down. I hereby promise that, once I return home, I will make a conscious effort to seek out weirdness.  I think I could even start by using this website as a starting point.

I just think you’re YOU, and that’s COOL! Sounds well-rounded. You already know what kinda woman I am~and I would SO love for Hazel to have the same values. However, if she loves fixing motorcycles, for example, it can only bless her family! LOL! and if she’s not like me in any way, OH I am still gonna just love that gal to death! She’s so amazing….

It’s funny you posted this today. After reading that NO SHORTCUTS book today, I was also inspired to go clicking on what our community has to offer! LOL! I’ll make use of your link….

BTW~you have a GREAT blogroll! From one of your links I found those Wrap-N-Mats for sandwiches~SOOO COOL! I’m wondering if I could make one from vinyl baby bib material…. (((((HUGS))))) sandi

I will totally go to Dinosaur Land with you. I’ve lived near it for 17 years and have never set foot inside.

Alright Liz, so, come November, we better hit Dinosaur Land. It just seems like one of those totally random pieces of Americana that we need to experience at least once in our lives…
